Behind The Rivets: What Really Goes On

It seems like there’s been a lot of interest around the Rivetwise rebrand, so we thought why not take you behind the scenes and show you what’s really been happening!

It’s a bit different from our usual talk about which rivets go into a van or an aircraft, but we think the story of our transformation is just as important (and maybe even just as interesting).

A New Chapter

Let’s start with the biggest shift: Rivetwise is now a trading name of Centric Logistics Ltd.

We realised that many people didn’t know about this change, so we set out to reflect it through more than just a logo. The goal wasn’t to say “We’re the old Rivetwise” instead, we wanted to say “We’re something new, but with the same trusted foundation.”

So, we updated our colours to align with Centric’s branding. You’ll have noticed this change across our website, email marketing, and literature. These were small but meaningful visual cues that represent a larger shift in how we operate and communicate.

Trust First, Always

Rebranding a logo is easy. Building trust? That’s the real work.

We know what our customers value most: transparency and communication. As a small team, we’re not perfect — things get hectic, and we sometimes make mistakes. But what we’re focused on is making sure you feel heard, supported, and informed.

We’re not just here to sell tools. We’re here to be a reliable partner in your process.

Behind Every Basket: The Real Work

From your perspective, it's easy to add a rivet tool or fastener to your basket. But behind the scenes? It’s a team effort.

We’re a small, dedicated crew — handling logistics, supplier relations, customer service, and operations all at once. Recently, we’ve re-partnered with Stanley Engineered Fastening, and we’re excited to grow that relationship to bring you some of the best fasteners and tooling solutions in the industry.

The ISO Journey

Let’s be honest: no one enjoys audits. But if we’re going to be the best, we need the credentials to prove it.

That’s why we’ve been working hard toward our ISO9001 accreditation. It’s a three-month journey involving documentation, systems, processes, and a lot of patience. Huge thanks to Charlie and our consultant Auva for guiding us through — we’re almost there!

A New Address, A New Warehouse

Yes, we’ve moved! Our new location means we’ve had to relocate all stock and build new warehouse systems from the ground up.

This has been no small task, but our warehouse team has stepped up in a big way. With incredible support from our Head of Operations and Managing Director, we’ve been able to keep things moving with minimal disruption to you.

Systems Matter (Even If You Hate Them)

Let’s talk tech: earlier this year, we briefly moved away from our trusted OGL/Profit4 system — and we definitely felt the impact.

As a small team doing everything manually in March, things got stressful fast. But we’re happy to say we’re now fully back on OGL and Profit4, ensuring smoother order processing, tracking, and customer communication.
